Sharon Elsey is a self taught artist who began painting in 2006. As a Garrett County native, she has worked as the Office Manager for the 1989 Whitewater World Championships and was the MD State Champion in the Women's Snowmobile event in 1987. She's now employed as the Secretary for the Adventuresports Institute of Garrett College. "I continue to learn many new techniques every day and enjoy the peace and contentment I receive from painting. I truly thank God for this special gift."
